I have always wanted to learn to sew! So this summer with the help of my Mom, I am FINALLY learning!
I gathered some pretty fabrics and we are starting small. Like, really small! Last week my Mom walked me through making a skirt for Hallie.
Here is the finished product! Cute huh??
Can’t wait to be able to do one on my own!

Love it! Skirts are a great first project, since they are relatively easy to do. Yours turned out great. 🙂 Sewing is so much fun, you just have to keep practicing. Also, I watch lots of tutorials on Youtube, or find blogs that give step-by-step pictures.
Lol well this one was mostly my mom's doing, but thanks! The next one I'll be more hands on!

So cute, you did a great job! I have sewn like 3 things in my life, lol! I did a tote bag one time and I was so proud of myself!
Great job girlie!! If I had to give you advice, I would say to quit when you start getting frustrated. Sometimes I try and push through and it just turns out to be an absolute disaster! And it takes WAYYYY longer, lol!!
Oh my gosh that skirt is so cute!! I wish I could sew. I'm great with a hot glue gun – which works out well enough for Halloween costumes.
